Last Chance for a Free Winni Woods T-Shirt!

Posted 4/2/2018 6:25am by Aaron Lichtenberg.

Hello Farm Faithful!

Well this week's temps finally started showing signs of Spring which we are all thankful for!

Lately, we've been working to dust off some farm equipment, start repairing the tractor, stacking the recently purchased fertilizer, planting seeds, and keeping a watchful eye on the horizon to see how long mud season may last this year.

From here on out the planting schedule will get more and more busy, and more plantings mounting each week. Here you can see a little early season teaser "before and after" pic of some overwintered spinach...we just shovelled off the low tunnels this week...(you'll be able to find it on a Wayfarer Coffee Roasters Breakfast sandwich!)

Last year the farm ended up giving away well over $3000 in early payment discounts. For our small farm that felt a little like going backwards in our efforts to become sustainable as a business, so this year we changed the early sign-up discount into giving our farm-faithful a FREE T-Shirt for paying in full before April 1st...we still wanted to give everyone a well deserved thank you for your support...and it's no ordinary cheap "T" either! We were able to finally find a T with cotton grown organically in NC, made in the USA, and it is super soft and comfortable! ...we got them from TS Designs...you can check 'em out here.

SO...This is your reminder that it is your last chance to cash in on your free T-shirt to sport around town, showing folks how cool you are for supporting your local farm! ;)

Thanks so much to all those that have come back with us already as well as telling your friends and family about us.

We'll see you all soon enough, and until then, let's all hope for sunshine and drying fields!

peace,

aaron & Liz
