Winni Woods Fall CSA #3

Posted 11/1/2018 6:29am by Aaron Lichtenberg.

Hello Farm Faithful!

This week's share will mark our halfway point through the Fall CSA season if you can believe it. November is already upon us and the snow will surely be coming soon...at least I hope, all this rain I could do without.

The weather predictors lied again to us this week, as there was only a small shot of sunshine, briefly on Tuesday, while I was washing leeks for ya's this week...pulling them in the cold and dreary morn' that was supposed to be "sunny" was another thing! (sorry, couldn't rotate the photo)

We've tried a couple of new recipes in the past couple of weeks and have updated the database with them...I'm sure you're sick of the fennel (last time, promise! we caramelized it with the onions), but the "green tomato casserole" we made sure was tasty...it's in the bank for you to check out...

Also, if you haven't heard of Lakes Region Uncorked, it's a fun event in Meredith that we'll be attending on Nov. 8th so come check us out. There's wine & beer tasting, food and fun all to support Lakes Region Community Services!

Check out the recipe bank here...
